Alias is an American spy series created by J.J. Abrams for ABC television. It ran from September 30, 2001 to May 22, 2006 for five seasons, plus one animated short film.
Series summary[]
Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) is recruited from college by SD-6, a super-secret black ops organisation connected to the CIA, only to find out that she has been tricked and that SD-6 is actually a terrorist organisation. She subsequently becomes a double-agent for the CIA, and must hide the truth not just from her SD-6 colleagues, but also from her college friends, who think she is a regular student.
