ADMIN ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey, folks!
After much consideration, I have decided to include animated films and television series in the Westphall universe. It seems as though most people think they ought to, and after thinking about how increasingly interconnected live-action and animation are, and with the inclusion of films that are practically or partially animated, either traditionally (Mary Poppins, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) or through CGI (James Cameron's Avatar). So thus, I think it's time to include them, plus I don't have time to manage this AND the sister wiki.
Should we count this?
Should we count works where works in the Tommy Westphall universe are fiction because if its all in his head than the fact they exist means they are also a part of it
New Sister Wiki!
Hello!
I am the admin of the Tommy Westphall Universe wiki and I am pleased to announce a creation of a sister wiki dedicated to animated television series and films. I'm doing this because although the regular TWU has a diverse range of productions, animated films would just be way too much to have here. So, I'm creating a sister wiki using the same basic rules and guidelines as the TWU, but with animation ONLY.
Here is the link (under construction): https://animated-westphall-universe.fandom.com/wiki/Animated_Westphall_Universe_Wiki
Baywatch spin-offs
Baywatch had 2 spin-off shows: Baywatch Nights and Baywatch: Hawaii. Baywatch Nights lasted from 1995-1997. Baywatch: Hawaii lasted from 1999-2001. There's already a page for Baywatch Nights, but there's no page for Baywatch: Hawaii. However, David Hasselhoff, who starred as Mitch Buchannon on Baywatch and Baywatch Nights, did appear on a few episodes of Baywatch: Hawaii. So all 3 of these shows belong in the Tommy Westphall Universe.
Hey
@TheRiceMan
I can connect any two unrelated pieces of media using the Westphall universe.
Got a challenge?
Helpful information to incorporate
Hello!
Here is a Buzzfeed article which I'll be using shortly to add connections between shows that we don't have. They've done most of the work for us!
36 TV Shows You Didn’t Realize Exist In The Same Universe
It should allow us to add a few shows to the list (as well as other connections between ones we already have), including:
- 30 Rock;
- Mad Men;
- New Girl;
- Parks and Recreation;
- The Good Place;
- Cougar Town;
- American Vandal;
- Sons of Anarchy; and
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (and by extension the rest of the MCU television shows)
It also includes a few brand connections (mostly different types of alcohol) that we can investigate further, including:
- Fielding (beer)
- Heisler Gold Ale
- Haberkern (beer)
- Penn Pavel’s Beer
- Let's (potato chips) (included on this page, but sh…

Overwhelmed
Hello everyone.
I have been feeling more than a little overwhelmed lately, so I have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes. I do not know when I will get back into the swing of articles, but so much has to be done with them. Working almost alone has made the work harder, though I am always grateful to see others come in to contribute. I am hoping to see more editors come to help contribute.
So, I am going to stay behind the scenes piddling around to see if others will come to imagine Tommy's universe. Lady Aleena (talk) 01:41, December 8, 2017 (UTC)
Why not allow cartoons?
I can understand it when the list was just the work of one guy- he drew limits to keep himself sane- but in a collaborative community project where people can work together and lighten the work load, why not allow cartoons,if they have a definite, concrete connection?
I'm not saying doing things like adding every single tiny cutaway from Family Guy, but in the case where live action actors reprised the same role in an animated show, like the Jessie-Ultimate Spiderman connection, why not run with it?
It just seems like an arbitrary distinction to make.
Category reorganization complete
I think I have completed the category reorganization. All categories that once had the word "shows" in them have been changed to "television series". All television series categories can be found in their category. Please give it a look and feel free to add any series I missed to those categories. Lady Aleena (talk) 03:35, October 7, 2017 (UTC)
Articles for two titles and networks done
For two days I went through and created articles for television series that had either two networks, two titles, and in one case both. So now all we are left with are article with one network and one title.
Now I have a few messes to clean up before I continue creating new articles. I will be cleaning up for several days.
Articles for television networks done
Today I decided to write articles for all of the television networks that aired Westphall television series, all thirty-two of them. In the process I have made wanted pages a much longer list, since I linked to every title I know of connected to Westphall in those articles.
So, if a new person stops by, they can now scan the networks category if they want to focus just on writing articles for television series aired by a certain network. Lady Aleena (talk) 15:56, September 20, 2017 (UTC)
Update: A few more networks have been found that do not have articles yet. Lady Aleena (talk) 03:37, October 7, 2017 (UTC)
