Legends of Tomorrow is an American superhero series created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Phil Klemmer The CW. It ran from January 21, 2016 to March 2, 2022.
Synopsis[]
After the immortal warlord Vandal Savage kills the Time Master Rip Hunter's family, Rip Hunter goes rogue and travels back in time to recruit a team of individuals who are unimportant to the timeline: Martin Stein, Ray Palmer, Sara Lance, Jefferson "Jax" Jackson, Kendra Saunders, Carter Hall, Mick Rory, and Leonard Snart. Though they are unimportant, Rip Hunter tells them that they have the chance to become legends and remembered in the annals of history by stopping Vandal Savage and saving his family.

The Flash "Legends of Today" and Arrow "Legends of Yesterday" were the backdoor pilot to Legends of Tomorrow. Those episodes introduced Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall. Martin Stein, Jefferson Jackson, Mick Rory, and Leonard Snart from The Flash and Sara Lance and Ray Palmer from Arrow joined the cast in the pilot.

Supergirl, Kara Danvers, appeared in "Invasion!".
Legends of Tomorrow also participated in the Crisis on Infinite Earths television event.
Westphall connections in Legends of Tomorrow[]
Virgil Hilts' motorcycle from The Great Escape as indicated by the identical model and identical license plate is used by Commander Steel in "Justice Society of America". This episode is set in the 1940s before The Great Escape was released, but is set during the time period the film was set.
