Star Trek: Enterprise is an American science fiction series created by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga for UPN. It ran from September 26, 2001 to May 13, 2005 for four seasons. It is a prequel spin-off of Star Trek.

Series summary[]

Set decades before Star Trek, Enterprise sees Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) running the first Warp Five starship; he is joined by a Vulcan, T'Pol (Joelene Blalock), whose job is to ensure that the humans don't cause too much trouble; chief engineer Trip (Connor Trineer) and an alien medical officer, Dr Phlox (John Billingsley), among others.

Star Trek: Enterprise is a prequel spin-off of Star Trek with Zefram Cochrane, played by James Cromwell and from Star Trek: First Contact, appearing in the pilot. Dr. Arik Soong, ancestor of Dr. Noonien Soong, the father of Star Trek: The Next Generation character Data, all played by Brent Spiner, appeared in four episodes. William Riker, played by Jonathan Frakes, and Deanna Troi, played by Marina Sirtis, also from The Next Generation, appeared in "These Are the Voyages...".
