Series summary[]
The Rookie stars Jeremy Ray Valdez as Jason Blaine, who has joined the Los Angeles branch of CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit). Blaine wants to work in the field, but is stuck behind a computer and doing the daily boring errands a rookie is assigned to. Until, as he is doing his errands, trouble is brewing and he leaps into action and saves the day.
